Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often. If yours is not here, contact us.

Where does Relay Pilot Rot Analytics run?

On your own hosting. You install the PHP application on your domain with your own MySQL database; we only operate the licensing service.

How are domains counted?

Each license allows a number of distinct hostnames. www.example.com and example.com count as one; go.example.com counts separately. Each hostname runs one active installation.

What happens if your licensing service is down?

Your installation keeps working normally for the grace period on your license (seven days by default). An outage is never treated as a cancelled license.

What happens when my license expires?

Redirect links show each campaign's temporary-unavailability page and the dashboard becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted; renewing restores full operation immediately.

Do I need my own MaxMind account?

Not necessarily. Depending on your license, you can use our managed geolocation service or enter your own MaxMind account ID and license key with web-service access.

Can I move to a different domain?

Yes. Move the installation from its Licensing page, or release the old domain in the customer portal and activate the new one.

Does Relay Pilot Rot Analytics store visitor IP addresses?

No. Redirect analytics store the campaign, destination, outcome, device category and (optionally) country — not IP addresses or browser fingerprints.

Can it hide links from ad reviewers or security scanners?

No. Relay Pilot Rot Analytics does not offer cloaking or any technique to evade security or advertising-platform enforcement.
